Dr. Schiffman is a graduate of the MD/MBA program at the University of Southern California where he specialized in health systems management and web-based healthcare delivery. He has extensive research experience in molecular biology and is the author of numerous scientific publications in this field. Dr. Schiffman also received a Masters of Arts degree in Linguistics from UCLA where he specialized in syntax, semantics, and computational linguistics. Dr. Schiffman is currently the Chief Resident Physician at the UCLA Anxiety Disorders Program where he has helped to develop the web-based, self directed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program for Anxiety Disorders found on Anxiety.org.  As Editor-in-Chief of this website, Dr. Schiffman directs its construction and oversees creation of content.
